February 11th 2010, BCBG Max Azria presented their Fall 2010 collection at the TENT at Bryant Park.
This season, Max and Lubor Azria opted for a look that is realistic to the recession. The design duo opted for a practical collection that is definitely friendly to many body types. The dominant colors were black and grey with accents of blue, silver and yellow. The collection consisted of layering lightweight pieces over a basic crewneck cashmere long-sleeved bodice. The shapes were slender and flowy just like the feeling of wearing a t-shirt. The geometrical wrap dresses were particularly a standout with the cinched waist by wide elastic bands. The dresses were mainly tunics, streamlined with a times block of colors in geometrical shapes. Voluminous, flowy and asymetrical, the shapes definitely accentuated the sensuality of the woman. Pants were loose and sleek at the hem. The common accessories for all the looks were the white tights, the high booties and a clutch purse. The night time pieces with ornated with subtle sequins.
One of the highlights of the show was the flowy and layered black trench cut just above the knee and worn open with large hand pockets in a light material.
The models had a clean, sleek look with their hair pulled back either in a low pony tail or a bun. The makeup by Stila complimented the modern and sophisticated design suggesting a minimalistic approach to fashion: matte skin, nude lip color, monochormatic feeling, clean look.
BCBG Max Zria collection was fresh, safe and definitely wearable.
This season, BCBC MAX Azria will maybe inspire women all over to ditch high maintenance looks for minimalist chic.
We spotted Michelle Wiliams, Maggies Rizer and Leight Lezark.

We are so proud to be Canadian and to come from Montreal as well!
House of Mackage has become a household name in the world of jackets, coats for both men and women. Mackage is a family run business based in Montreal, Quebec ( where we are from). In 1999, Michel's daughter Danielle even inspired the name of the brand when she mispronounced the French word "maquillage" for Mackage!
Based in Montreal where the winters are dreadfully cold, it is only logical that Mackage makes the best winter jackets! Their fashionable outerwear line almost make us enjoy winter! They definitely know a thing or two about staying warm in style.
We have been huge fans of Mackage jackets for many years now (I own 3 Mackage jackets) abnd even thought the prices aren't the most affordable, I must admit the jackets are worth it. The Design Duo behind the label, Elisa Dahan and Eran Elfassy started in their early twentys and in less than 10 years have built an Empire. This is a true success story from Quebec, just like the one of Celine Dion. Season after Season, they deliver flawless collections that are original, sleeks elegant with distinctly sexy silhouettes. Their signature is the leather/fur trims and belts highlighting strategic places on wool/leather jackets.
Their outerwear Fall 2010 collection totally rocks!! It combined glam rock and chic twist always with sophistication. Impeccable and it was followed but their debut read-to-wear line for women and we must admit the collection was fabulous as well! The collection for women is sexy, bold and modern. They are here to stay. The Design duo were inspired by " the duality of a woman, believing that modern women want to be perceived as sexy, strong and confident, but also feminine and sophisticated."(kind of like the SACHIKA woman...) No wonder why celebrities like Nelly Furtado,Will Am, John Legend, Hilary Duff, Jessica Biel, Elizabeth Hurley, Eva Mendes, Kristen Bell,Britney Spears, Michelle Trachtenberg, Halle Berry, Lindsay Lohan an so many more. Mackage is now sold nationwide in Canada and the US. Visit their boutique located at 148 Spring in Soho New York or http://mackage.com.

Libido or the desire of lovemaking is the bond that unites two bodies. Lovemaking if done with intense desire brings a fountain of pleasure and happiness in life.
For all the lovers out there, Valentines day is approaching!
Whether you want to put some sizzle back into your sex life, rekindle with a lover or get one step closer to Nirvana, eating certain food can certainly help you set the mood this Valentine's Day. There's nothing better than a romantic dinner to help turn up the heat. While the aphrodisiac qualities of these food may be nothing more than myths, you have to eat something on Valentine's Day, make it some of these "love-eliciting" foods.
Here are some of the food ingredients that have been known to be aphrodisiacs.
Almonds have long been purported to increase passion, act as a sexual stimulant, and aid with fertility. They are nutrient-dense and rich in several trace minerals that are important for sexual health and reproduction, such as zinc, selenium, and vitamin E.
Avocados are rich in unsaturated fats and low in saturated fat, making them good for your heart and your arteries. Anything that keeps the heart beating strong helps keep blood flowing to all the right places!
The color red is known to evotion passion. Strawberries are apparently an excellent source of folic acid, a B vitamin that helps ward off birth defects in women and may be tied to high sperm counts in men.
Despite their slippery and slimy texture, oysters may be the most well-known aphrodisiac. They're also one of the best sources of libido-boosting zinc.
These funny-shaped fruits have a long history of being a fertility booster, and they make an excellent aphrodisiac because they are packed with both soluble and insoluble fiber, which is important for heart health.
In addition to the sensuous texture of melted chocolate, this quintessential lovers' gift contains a stimulant called phenylethylamine, considered by some researchers as the "love chemical" as it gives you a feeling of well-being and excitement that is very similar to the endorphins giving us a natural high. There's a reason we give chocolate on Valentine's Day: It's full of libido-boosting methylzanthines.
Truffles contain a chemical that is similar to the male pig sex
hormone. The chemical in truffles is also similar to a human male sex hormone, which gives truffles their romantic reputation. It doesn't hurt that truffles are also expensive and hard to find.
Asparagus are rich in vitamin E, a vitamin considered to stimulate production of our sex hormones and may be essential for a healthy sex life.
A pepper's heat comes from "capsaicin," a chemical that stimulates our nerve endings, raising our pulse and making us sweat. Some researchers believe that eating hot foods also triggers the release of endorphins, body chemicals that gives us a natural high that is conducive to love-making.
It works by increasing the blood flow around the body meaning it gets to the bits it needs to even quicker. This helps to make both your sensitive bits even more sensitive and it's been thought to help your man get an erection more easily.
Ginger warms up the body and increases the heart rate, much in the same way that chilli does. It mimics how the body feels during sex, and makes you start thinking about it.
Other than their appearance, shape and properties, there are five other qualities of foods that are thought to educe sensuality. Foods considered sexy are generally those that are:
Come to think of it, Mankind has been linking food with sex and love for thousands of years...
Of course, dressing the part can also add to an unforgettable evening!
The Rae dress, a sexy wrap dress makes it easy for him! <3

And for those who are looking for love, Valentines Day may be the perfect occasion/time of the year to celebrate your love and gratitude for what you already have: family, friends, career, health, etc.
Patience is a virtue...We found this great quote to help you find " The One":
"When doing your daily visualization of your partner, you should focus on the feeling versus the physical attributes. Really engage feeling nurtured and cared for in ways you never thought someone could. Open your mind up to the possibility of having a relationship with someone who completely adores you. You’ll find that your heart will lead you in the right direction and that “the one” will appear sooner than you ever thought possible."
