SACHIKA PRESENTS SS15 “ENCHANTED” at ART HEARTS FASHION LAFW
(Los Angeles) Designers To-Tam & To-Nya Sachika “THE SACHIKA TWINS” presented their much anticipated SS15 collection entitled “ENCHANTED” with Art Hearts Fashion in collaboration with ParkerWhitaker Productions at the prestigious Taglyan Cultural Complex located at 1201 Vine Street, Los Angeles CA 90038.
SACHIKA opened their runway show with a beautiful short fashion film shot and directed by photographer/filmmaker Sarah Orbanic with an original musical arrangement by Award-Winning music producer JP Beats. The audience was quickly captivated by the celestial vocals of the SACHIKA TWINS immersing them into the “ENCHANTED” forest where beautiful fairies sing, dance and move fluidly to the sound of nature. Elegant models graced the runway like Fairies walking in an Enchanted Forest. The audience applauded time and time again at their favorite alluring silhouettes. SACHIKA SS15 collection was nothing short of magical and “Enchanted” with a soft candied color palette on timeless and fresh designs, some flowing, some structured. The collection is a celebration of beauty and grace: indulged with light and delicate silks or solid, textured fabrications, some with lace overlays while others are spiced up with metallic stones, no details were left behind. “ENCHANTED” is truly a manifestation of the dreams with gorgeous hues of lavender, blue, jade, gold that depict a wonderland of beauty, grace and magic. Ready-to-Wear pieces such as oversized poncho jackets, 2 piece sets, sophisticated loose pieces and glamorous dresses were shown, as well as impeccable evening gowns
suited for red carpets.
The lineup composed of 30 looks ended with a magical finale: 6 models strutted as Fairies in gowns as the delighted crowd applauded to the enchanting display. Inspired by their passionate & bubbly personalities, “ SACHIKA SS15 collection is a reflection of our beliefs... we believe in MAGIC,...and yes, we do believe in Fairy Tales!”. To-Tam and To-Nya Sachika sure know how to put on a show, as the twins walked out as modern Fairies to a full room and a cheering crowd.
SACHIKA designs were complemented by beautifully hand crafted KD LUXE Jewelry; a line
of custom jewelry and accessories designed and crafted by Kathleen Largent. Shoes worn by the models and the Designers were provided by I Heart Fashion, a trendy shoe store located in downtown Los Angeles. The Twin Designers hair where styled by known Hair Stylist Guy Levi.
Guests, celebrities and star athletes of Art Hearts Fashion LAFW included Terrell Owens, Deandre Jordan, No Doubt’s Stephen Bradley, Courtney Stodden, Joe Simpson, Bobby Brown, star cast of Rich Kids of Beverly Hills, MTV 90’s VJ Jesse Camp, Members of Cypress Hill, VH1 Basketball Wives’ Jackie Christy, Candice Cayne and playboy playmates, packed the venue, enjoying art and installations by Sham Ibrahim, Joseph Jasso, and Eugene Huffman before the evening’s shows.
The event was full of fantastic celebrity models including: NFL Player Dale Moss, Actor Carlo Mendez brother of Eva Mendez, Guess Girl and Winner of America's Next top model Jourdan Miller, ANTM superstars Kiara Belen and Reina Hein, Sam Sarpong, Skylar Diggins and Nadia Mejia Star of VH1's Suave Says, as well as Playboy Playmates Carly Lauren, Val Keil, and Stephanie Branton.
Guests enjoyed specialty cocktails by tea-based liqueur TATRATEA, while The Wine Caterers provided a delicious tasting of some of their fine wines and Moreno Champagne poured delicious welcome glasses. Throughout the event, Fannie Lash presented their luxury line of fine false lashes.
