Thanksgiving Day, informally known as Turkey Day is a holiday to express thankfulness, gratitude, and appreciation to God, family and friends for which all have been blessed of material possessions and relationships. Traditionally, it has been a time to give thanks for a bountiful harvest. Frankly Thanksgiving should be everyday but let's grab this opportunity to highlight the ones we appreciate :)

This year 2010, marks our fourth year since our move to the big apple , NYC from Montreal, Canada.
Looking back, we've come quite a loooong way! Our constant fight was to figure a way to be able to do what we love and are passionate about every day. It was hard when we first moved here, we had to work very hard to adjust to the cost of living in New York compared to Montreal, where we grew up. Through modeling, waitressing, cocktailing, bartending, real estate, we've been through tribulations that brought us closer to achieving our dreams. No matter what we did, we always worked with integrity knowing that "hard work pays off"..and we never ceased to believe...

Working in the hustle and bustle of NYC, it is very easy to get distracted from sanity, personal growth, well-being and mental rejuvenation. For this year's Thanksgiving, your SACHIKA TWINS are taking a day to remind ourselves of the true values in life such as family, true friends, love, health and the simple good stuff in life that are so very often overlooked and taken for granted in The Big City.
Let's face it, no one can make it by him/herself in this world...we all need each other and one another and the day we believe and invest in strong relationships, we become strongly armed!
