TASHERA SIMMONS PARTNERS UP WITH 238BEATS ENTERTAINMENT GROUP FOR THE WOMEN OF STRENGTH FOUNDATION'S RED CARPET LAUNCH & FUNDRAISER EVENT
On October 26, 2010 we attended the invite only fundraiser Tashera SImmons Women of Strength event and had an amazing time. Hosted at the Taj Lounge with Legendary Doo Wop & DJ Sure Shot the party was a complete and utter success.
The Women of Strength Foundation is a non-profit organization for women in need dedicating time and resources to women and children whose lives have been directly affected by drug abuse, sexual abuse, domestic violence, abandonment, mental health issues, and other social conflicts. Tashera Simmons a survivor of these circumstances herself has created a program where these victims can find open arms and a place at hope. She is currently working on her book titled Strength Of A Woman and reality show called "Life after X". She is no stranger to of extreme circumstances that these woman face daily. After being abandoned by her mother Tashera was forced to become a guardian to her six siblings. Having a big impact on her life growing up. Married to Hip Hop Rapper and drug user DMX she also had to deal with his drug abuse and infidelity but she never let any of that get in her way of success. Now that is one powerful woman who knows where she is going in life. Can you say SACHIKA lifestyle?
238Beats Entertainment and Tashera Simmons are calling on celebrities, industry executives, radio personalities, and all those who can use their voice as an instrument to help support such a valiant cause. The goal of the event was to educate women on the many resources available to them.
Overall, this was an amazing and very impacting event and we support all the women of the world! It takes a very strong woman to overcome circumstances like these but any SACHIKA woman can do it. There is no limit to what the future may hold.

This is really a great thing! Women empowerment is very important issue now. It is a great thing that women learn their value and learn to over come these obstacle. Also learn how how these issue do not just target only certain type of women. Power to the Women!!!
