SACHIKA TWINS CELEBRATE NE-YO'S BDAY AT GREENHOUSE

On October 21, 2010 we attended the all time birthday bash for the hottest Scorpio celebrity Ne-Yo's 31st birthday. 

Happy bday to the Ultimate Gentleman!!

Held at greenhouse, this bash was one of the most fun parties we have been to in a while  with  artists such as Free, Miguel, recording artist Wish, model Jessica White, reality TV personality Jennifer Williams, NFL player Dwight Freeney and many more. As a Scorpio you already know Ne Yo's most prominent characteristics are his balanced lifestyle, truthful personality, inner beauty, justice, and PERFECTION! He is the sweetest guy ever. Everyone knows how much we love his music and loop every one of his songs. His music has inspired us greatly. Some of our favorite songs are: Because of You, So Sick, Sexy Love, Miss Independent, Mad, etc.  We danced in VIP and partied all night  and had an amazing time!

Wish everyday was a birthday party. :-)

SACHIKA Top 5 colors this FALL 2010

Olive

The  olive color happens to be our favorite color of the season, it goes so well with many different skin tones and can be worn at any time of day. This olive is like a mix of taupes and shades of green and can be paired with nearly any color. The olive color can also be paired with different shades of the same olive tone in itself. It is a great new neutral hue that works great for layering this fall season.

Nude

Nude and camel tones are extremely versatile and can be used in any look from day to night. The SACHIKA woman is always on the go so it is important for her to change her look without having to do too much or work too hard. Nude tones are very elegant and are very flattering on the body so you will definitely catch all he SACHIKA women out there wearing this color. 

Rich Purple

Nothing screams elegance, femininity, beauty, and SACHIKA more then rich dark purple hues. Plum colors are great in gemstones, dresses, beauty and especially nail colors for this fall. We've also noticed that most  of the purple hues have been seen in velvet fabrics on the runway. Velvet and deep purple is the perfect SACHIKA combination.

Red

Rich reds are such a classic sexy way to spice up a look. A simple red lip or red jacket, even a punch of red shoes take a look from just OK to GLAM-O-ROUS. The SACHIKA woman loves looking sexy without doing to much or being over the top and a simple red lip is just the way to do that. 

White Tights

As the seasons transition tights are starting to get pulled out of the closets of the SACHIKA women. This season, instead of grabbing those black tights lets pick out white ones. For a change this autumn we are going to be seeing a lot of white and ivory and very light toned tights which we think is going to be a great flattering new trend.

            As businesswomen we must look top notch at all times, as well as be prepared for the best. Being challenged with a busy lifestyle with numerous meetings during the day we found ourselves compelled to bring certain items with us that we find useful during our daily routine. Below are our top five essentials we believe all busy women on the go should carry with them everyday.

1.) Pair of Flats

            We always have a cute pair of flats in our bag. Living in the hustle and bustle of New York City one cannot expect to run around town in your cute heels and get everywhere in time and comfortably. You want to save your energy and your feet for the best. It is a good combination of being comfortable and making yourself most efficient. The SACHIKA woman never knows whom she may run into in New York and it is important for her to be equipped for all of the action.

            We are in love with these little vitamin packs. Living a healthy lifestyle is so important to us.             In New York you have to expect the unexpected. Nothing surprises us anymore in a city filled with such diversity. We found ourselves using our flip camera almost on a daily basis. It has been of great use during meetings. For us as designers the Flip camera is great for fittings with our clientele. The flip camera is also a good way to protect you legally. Using a flip camera can get addictive, once you realize that with a camera you can capture moments that us as humans sometimes overlook you’ll realize you need it with you at all times. We believe in living in the moment, but isn’t it even better when you know that the moment is saved and documented. Next thing you know you will start making a movie about your everyday life.

            You never know whom you will stumble upon. A USB is a very important essential to keep on your keychain at all times. You can run off copies or present your work at any computer. It is like an on hand portfolio of any important information you have.

You should put your favorite songs that uplift and motivate you. Being positive and joyful is a crucial aspect to self-achievement and great success. Music is a powerful way to change your mood.

On September 14th 2010, the beautiful & talented DJ Sky Nellor walked the SACHIKA runway show during New York Fashion Week. DJ Sky Nellor graced our SACHIKA runway like a supermodel!!

A few months ago, we had the pleasure of meeting her at Goldbar in downtown New York. Our friend Jessica Rosenblum introduced us to a stunning tall & slender brunette who turned out to be a DJ (wow how sexy is that...)...It was the beautiful DJ SKy Nellor ..!

On September 14th 2010, the sexy & beautiful Denyce Lawton walked the SACHIKA runway show during New York Fashion Week. Denyce Lawton, exotic beauty, walked the SACHIKA runway like a proud SACHIKA woman. She was such a natural!

Denyce Lawton (born May 2nd, 1978) is an American actress, & model. She is of African and Korean decent and speaks Korean fluently. Denyce Lawton plays the manicurist in the barber shop on Tyler Perry 's House of Payne , but that's not the only place you've likely seen this model and actress. She was featured on Soul Plane, Go For Broke , and It Ain't Easy , to name a few. She also had a hand in the music industry back in the late '90s.

Solange Knowles: Proud Mom/ Actress / Singer / Songwriter and now DJ!

Solange Knowles rocked the house in the DJ booth at Greenhouse NYC last Thursday night!  We loved her style! She wore bright orange nails, cutoff shorts and a cut out sweater paired with sexy sky-high blue heels. She knows music and style! Her mixing skills are unrivaled but don't be fooled this hot DJ doesn't stop at that.  

 

Solange is an American recording artist, actress and model. She’s influenced by the sounds of Motown girl groups such as The Supremes and The Marvelettes, and Martha Reeves. Solange is not just a talented recording artist but has graced the big screen in roles such as Head cheerleader in Bring it on again: All or Nothing, opposite Hayden Panettiere.
