What is it that we love about Patti Stanger? Well Everything! She does it all; Patti Stanger founded Millionaire's Club International, in January 2000. Ms. Stanger, the club's owner, as well as the star and executive producer of her own television show, the very successful The Millionaire Matchmaker, on Bravo. Patti has also been featured in magazines, newspapers and blogs – including her weekly blog on Yahoo Shine. She is also the author of the bestselling book, “Become Your Own Matchmaker: 8 Easy Steps for Attracting Your Perfect Mate”, released by Simon & Schuster and the host of the hit XM Radio show.

The Millionaire Matchmaker is a reality show that showcases Patti’s matchmaking business. It is an international matchmaking service that caters to male and female members all around the world The Millionaire's Club is unique as it has a much more contemporary approach. The club works closely with psychologists, relationship counselors, date coaches, hypnotherapists and image consultants, as well as with a variety of personal trainers, plastic surgeons, dentists and hairstylists. The use of such help follows Patti’s motto, that if a man wants a perfect ‘10’ then he himself must be a perfect ‘10’. Patti works with every client on an individual basis and coaches him or her through each stage of the dating process, from the first meeting through the marriage proposal. Patti provides them with tailored feedback (she doesn’t hold anything back) and is able to match members according to their exact preferences and requirements. The show follows Patti in her everyday work life and shows the process of her millionaires finding their true match.

Patti also had ten years of experience in the industry working for Union Bay Sportswear, Jou Jou Jeans, and Saks Fifth Avenue and is no stranger to fashion. We are thrilled to be working with Patti Stanger [No we’re not clients! although that’s not such a bad idea, wink*] SACHIKA is making her outfits for this season of The Millionaire Matchmaker. For Patti we’ve created fun yet very sophisticated dresses that lets her clients know she means business! WHO'S YOUR DADDY!?! => SACHIKA TWINS' DADDY IS A "SMART A$$" ;)

Our dad: Mr. Ton-That Luong aka TOP CHEF TY

He has a golden heart, a devilish look in his eyes and principles of steal. Everything he touches turns into gold, he's an amazing artist, top chef, the best cook ever! He has talent, so much brain, amazing qualities and of course his own flaws.

But he's our DADDY!!! &.....We loooooove him to death!

Our father, of Vietnamese decent, carries the royal blood. His name is Ton-That Luong ( nickname is Mr. Ty). Notice, in Viet Nam, the last name goes in front of the first name. Daddy grew up in the center part of Vietnam called HUE. That region of the country is known to have the thickest accent, the most distinct food dishes and exquisite women. Talking about women, our father is a total WOMANIZER! He is a charmer, a ladies'man LOL (We really hope those days are gone! *ahem!!! He's still with our mom!!-). Being the WOMANIZER that he's always been, he swears to us that men only want one thing from women. Of course, having that mentality, leads him to think that all men are JERKS. Therefore, our father is VERY PROTECTIVE, OVER protective. Any man that wants to be with any of us must go through him. Oh well, no one has passed the test YET. He has never approved none of the boys & of course that was the source of lots of drama. Let's save this topic for another blog post.LOL

So yup, any guy who ever dared approaching us was sure to get his dose of #$#%#^%&^#$^#ass whoopping! ( We can still recall the time he caught us talking to this boy at 14 years old,...poor him, our father ran after him with a sushi knife and called the cops on him for sexual harassment! LOL). Everyone heard about it and we were labeled " the twins with the psycho DAD!" Thank God we now live in NY and that label has gone down the drain...!

He encountered many women in his life, broke many hearts and yes, only decided to settle down with...OUR MOTHER, 11 years younger, daughter of a wealthy/ renowned family in VietNam/owner of all the VAN HOA cinemas. My mother has only been with one man in her life - my father! WOW =P

To most people, it seems as if we grew up under the "kingdom of Hitler". Growing up, we had to go through very disciplined and harsh daily regimens. We attended private schools from age 6 up until 17 years old(catholic all girl schools). And every single day, he drove us to school and came to pick us up in his white BMW. (We hated that, couldn't we just take the subway like all the other kids? lol) After school, we had to go to our parents' restaurant and all the 6 kids would help out. It was a family affair, always been like that with us... Keep the $ in the family...lol. Needless to say we grew up cleaning, bussing tables, hostessing, cooking (and yes we're pretty damn good), waitressing, bartering, yes we did it all. "Money doesn't come easy" he always said. Every weekend, it was time for Classical Piano lessons ( I begged my teacher to trade for vocal lessons instead) swimming classese, tennis lessons, Tae kwon do & kung fu lessons, classic ballet training, chess club. We had to do it ALL and...well. The daughters of Mr. Ty had to be the number 1 in everything they do, Not number 2. Number 1.

Boy....were we not petrified of my father growing up!!!!....A single stare from him - the stare of death as many would describe- and we were all mortified.

As afraid as we used to be of him, today we totally see him as a friend. My father- being a hot tempered person that he was, calmed down over the years and yes, he is not as dreadful as he used to be! lol (God bless..)

Our Father has the best heart - a golden heart! He is an amazing father & would do anything for any of us. He's the BEST father ever and we thank him for being harsh on us growing up..because boy, it prepared us for the worst! And now, we're READY!

He has taught us to be strong, independent, hard worker & to always strive to be the very BEST in everything we do. And most importantly, he said: " You have to be your own BOSS"...and so...WE ARE...=)

ELLE Women in Music Concert/Event @ Highline Ballroom

With its first ever Women in Music event, Elle hosted its first event on June 9, 2010 in New York City’s Highline Ballroom. The Event celebrates its July issue of women in Music with performances by Grammy nominated singer/songwriter Kelis, alternative rock band The Like and NYC DJ Justine D. Stars in attendance were Whitney Port, Olivia Palermo and Roxy Olin from "The City" along with fashion designer Catherine Malandrino, rapper Fabolous and up-and-coming artist Alexis Jordan and of course Celebrity fashion designers To-Tam and To-Nya Sachika. Belvedere, Garnier Fructis and Havaianas sponsored the event, which brought the very women being featured on the magazines onto the stage. There were performances by kelis and a surprise performance by Patti Labelle. That woman has pipes!!! This up-close and personal look at these talented female made it a fun and exciting night!

Our best Bday gift ever: a SACHIKA FASHION SHOW @ Amnesia

This year for our Bday, we decided to do it big & bold and we did it SACHIKA STYLE: we threw a huge Fashion Show @ a huge new club in NY! One of our very first friend that we met when we moved to New York is Arthur Rutledge. He is a typical Sagittarius man lol: fun, outgoing, flirtatious, sociable, funny, very talkative & loves the attention LOL. He was born on December 12th and we were born on December 13th. He's the ultimate New York Promoter: knows EVERYONE ( literally ) and all the best hotspots in New York, always fashionably dressed surrounded by beautiful girls...Yup that's our Arthur!!! 3 Sagis together? Why not celebrate all together? And it turned out to be the sickest party ever. Club Amnesia just opened on Thursday December 9th and so it was the Grand Opening Week-end. At 10pm, the lineup was very long. It was a cold evening but inside club Amnesia (used to be Ruby Falls) it was HOT & steamy!!! We had DJ Lyle Quach spinning some crazy house music, people were dancing, club was popping! At midnight, 18 supermodels struck the runway stage in SACHIKA dresses...Awww it was the best Bday gift ever! Photographer, press & media were taking flicks left & right....We had to end the evening with a few bottles of Vodka and Champagne in the VIP area with all our good friends.....yup party like ROCKSTARS!! Thank you to all the SACHIKA TEAM & all our friends for making this evening UNFORGETTABLE!
