ADRIENNE BAILON STRUTS THE SACHIKA RUNWAY DURING NYFW SPRING 2011
On September 14th 2010, the sexy & beautiful Adrienne Bailon walked the SACHIKA runway show during New York Fashion Week. Adrienne must the smallest super model you've ever seen rocking the NYFW runway but as you can see, she nailed it!!! Great things usually come in small packages:) We had the pleasure of working with her and she's such a doll!!
Adrienne Eliza Bailon (born October 24, 1983) is an American actress, singer-songwriter, dancer, and television personality. She was a member of former girl groups 3LW and The Cheetah Girls, and is also known for her roles in the Disney Channel Original Movie of the same name and latter sequels which brought the group to prominence. She is currently a solo artist via Island Def Jam, as well as hosts afternoon programming and other events for MTV.

On September 14th, the tall, slender & gracious Alex McCord walked the SACHIKA runway show during New York Fashion Style360, in New York.
Congratulations to Alex McCord who recently landed a modeling contract with New York Model Management. Alex McCord walked 6 Runway shows during New York Fashion. Now that's a working model!!!

Alex McCord, (born October 1, 1973) , one of the Starts of Bravo's Hit Reality TV SHow " The Real Housewives of New York" is married to Simon van Kempen, who was the General Manager of Hotel Chandler in New York City, throughout the first 3 seasons but has since left to start his own Social Media business within the hotel sector. They have two boys together, Francois and Johan. McCord and her husband have written a book together entitled, Little Kids, Big City, which was released in spring 2010. She was a graphic designer for over nine years In March 2009, she was laid off from her job in visual merchandising for Limited Brands/Victoria’s Secret. McCord was born in Washington, D.C., raised in Kansas, Texas, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, and has lived in New York City since 1996.

CAROLINE MANZO STRUTS THE SACHIKA RUNWAY DURING NYFW SPRING 2011 !!
On September 14th 2010, The most popular Real Housewife of New Jersey, Caroline Manzo, walked the SACHIKA runway show all smiles during New York Fashion Week. Caroline looked radiant, happy and beautiful as she gracefully strutted the SACHIKA runway.

Caroline Manzo (born August 23, 1961) has been married for 25 years to Albert Manzo, co-owner of The Brownstone, an event and catering facility in Paterson, New Jersey. She is one of the stars of Bravo's hit Reality TV Show "The Real Housewives of New Jersey". Albert Manzo's brother is the second husband of Caroline's sister and former cast mate, Dina Manzo, making the two both sisters and sisters-in-law. The couple have three children: Albert "Albie" Manzo, Jr. (born in 1986), Lauren Manzo (born in 1988), and Christopher Manzo (born in 1989). Caroline is the owner of two businesses: Opus Properties, a real estate firm, and a children's accessories line. In addition, she serves on the board of her sister Dina's charity foundation, Project Ladybug.

On September 14th 2010, the gorgeous and sexy Dawn Richard walked the SACHIKA runway show during New York Fashion Week. Dawn is obviously not new to the stage, she walked as if sh'es been modeling for years! A true performer!
Dawn Angeliqué Richard (born August 5, 1983) is an American singer, songwriter, and dancer. Richard is a former member of the musical group Danity Kane, from 2005 to 2009. She is currently a member of the group Dirty Money, along with label head Sean "Diddy" Combs and another singer/songwriter named Kalenna Harper.

Boutique Eat Shop aka Our New Favorite Brunch Spot!
This new restaurant "lieu de rencontre" haven, called the Boutique Eat Shop, located on 22nd and 11th avenue is the perfect spot for a delicious meal and to meet the most talented artists in town! It is architecturally fantastic with high ceilings, beautiful dark wood floors, decorative fireplace and a warm brick wall. This achieves an eclectic and modern feel, which is perfect for classy & trendy spots to hang with friends. The ambiance of world rhythmic music, polished & friendly clientele, and ample space of 60 seats, booths and tables make this restaurant a definite new hotspot in New York! The service is warm and welcoming. The two owners of this establishment, Patrick and Eddy, have opened their doors to the artist community and welcome anyone willing to have an "artistic culinary experience". 5 stars from SACHIKA!
P.S. The Eggs Benedict for Brunch were a real benediction from HEAVEN =)

Jumpsuits…people seem to either love them or hate them. This season we’re going with LOVE! From runways to the streets, jumpsuits have made their comeback from the 70's. The best part is that this is not going to be a short lived summer fad because jumpsuits are going straight through to fall. Jumpsuits look great with heel as the look will sexily elongate your body. The romper has also been making its comeback as an alternative to mini summer dresses. WHO'S YOUR DADDY!?! => SACHIKA TWINS' DADDY IS A "SMART A$$" ;)
He has a golden heart, a devilish look in his eyes and principles of steal. Everything he touches turns into gold, he's an amazing artist, top chef, the best cook ever! He has talent, so much brain, amazing qualities and of course his own flaws.
But he's our DADDY!!! &.....We loooooove him to death!
Our father, of Vietnamese decent, carries the royal blood. His name is Ton-That Luong ( nickname is Mr. Ty). Notice, in Viet Nam, the last name goes in front of the first name. Daddy grew up in the center part of Vietnam called HUE. That region of the country is known to have the thickest accent, the most distinct food dishes and exquisite women. Talking about women, our father is a total WOMANIZER! He is a charmer, a ladies'man LOL (We really hope those days are gone! *ahem!!! He's still with our mom!!-). Being the WOMANIZER that he's always been, he swears to us that men only want one thing from women. Of course, having that mentality, leads him to think that all men are JERKS. Therefore, our father is VERY PROTECTIVE, OVER protective. Any man that wants to be with any of us must go through him. Oh well, no one has passed the test YET. He has never approved none of the boys & of course that was the source of lots of drama. Let's save this topic for another blog post.LOL
So yup, any guy who ever dared approaching us was sure to get his dose of #$#%#^%&^#$^#ass whoopping! ( We can still recall the time he caught us talking to this boy at 14 years old,...poor him, our father ran after him with a sushi knife and called the cops on him for sexual harassment! LOL). Everyone heard about it and we were labeled " the twins with the psycho DAD!" Thank God we now live in NY and that label has gone down the drain...!
He encountered many women in his life, broke many hearts and yes, only decided to settle down with...OUR MOTHER, 11 years younger, daughter of a wealthy/ renowned family in VietNam/owner of all the VAN HOA cinemas. My mother has only been with one man in her life - my father! WOW =P
To most people, it seems as if we grew up under the "kingdom of Hitler". Growing up, we had to go through very disciplined and harsh daily regimens. We attended private schools from age 6 up until 17 years old(catholic all girl schools). And every single day, he drove us to school and came to pick us up in his white BMW. (We hated that, couldn't we just take the subway like all the other kids? lol) After school, we had to go to our parents' restaurant and all the 6 kids would help out. It was a family affair, always been like that with us... Keep the $ in the family...lol. Needless to say we grew up cleaning, bussing tables, hostessing, cooking (and yes we're pretty damn good), waitressing, bartering, yes we did it all. "Money doesn't come easy" he always said. Every weekend, it was time for Classical Piano lessons ( I begged my teacher to trade for vocal lessons instead) swimming classese, tennis lessons, Tae kwon do & kung fu lessons, classic ballet training, chess club. We had to do it ALL and...well. The daughters of Mr. Ty had to be the number 1 in everything they do, Not number 2. Number 1.
Boy....were we not petrified of my father growing up!!!!....A single stare from him - the stare of death as many would describe- and we were all mortified.
As afraid as we used to be of him, today we totally see him as a friend. My father- being a hot tempered person that he was, calmed down over the years and yes, he is not as dreadful as he used to be! lol (God bless..)
Our Father has the best heart - a golden heart! He is an amazing father & would do anything for any of us. He's the BEST father ever and we thank him for being harsh on us growing up..because boy, it prepared us for the worst! And now, we're READY!
He has taught us to be strong, independent, hard worker & to always strive to be the very BEST in everything we do. And most importantly, he said: " You have to be your own BOSS"...and so...WE ARE...=)
