7 HOT NEW BRAID STYLES!!!!

Looking fabulous is not just a reflection of your clothes and accessories but your hairstyle too and this season is all about braids, braids, braids! I’m not talking about just a simple braid trailing down your back. Now there are HOT new ways to rock a braid. Different braid styles can be perfect for all sorts of occasions from a simple day out shopping to a glamorous night on the red carpet, and they work for all types of hair from thick and curly to straight and wispy. Go all out high fashion with these 7 braid styles for Spring/Summer 2010!

Lauren Conrad loves braided hairstyles and almost always can be seen sporting some sort of braid in her hair. Here she goes for a tiny headband braid to keep her hair out of her face while still looking stunning.

Gorgeous Jessica Alba goes for a more elegant and formal braided up do. This style looks classy without taking away from her flashier earrings and dress.

Zoe Saldana goes with a simple, messy side braid for a flirty and casual look. This style is very easy to accomplish and can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion.

Nicole Ricci wears her hair in a milkmaid style braid around the back of her head. The braid adds an extra touch to a simple up do for an innocent feminine look.

Kate Hudson takes the French braid to another level by wearing it at an angle. The braid starts with a side part and wraps down and around to the opposite side of her head.

Rachel Bilson’s braided look is more on the Bohemian side. She keeps her hair down in soft waves with a tiny braid pinned back on each side.

Leona Lewis also rocks a braid but hers is a fishtail. Be careful not to start your fishtail braid at the top of your head though. It looks best starting from right around the ears for a messy but classy side braid style.

Be A Fashion "Print-cess"!!!

Princess To-Nya Sachika hehehe (RIGHT)

Princess To-Tam Sachika LOL (LEFT)

Did you know?!

Our last name TON-NU is a royal family name in Vietnam.
The male version of the name is TON-THAT. That means we would be princesses if we were living in Vietnam and few centuries back! hehe
That's right gentlemen, we want the ROYAL treatment! Chivalry is a big TURN-ON!

For now, let's help other ladies become princesses!:)

HOW?!!!

Go for the gold...and floral, and stripes! This season is all about patterns. You can simplify the look by pairing a bold pattern with a neutral piece or you can go all out glamour and follow this season’s style of pairing two different prints together. This look can get tricky so be careful not to get carried away with it or you’ll end up looking like you got dressed in the dark. Here are some ways the celebrities turned themselves into fashion “print-cesses”.

Victoria Beckham pairs her vibrantly printed dress with solid colored boots for a more conservative version of the pattern trend but the bold colors still help her stand out looking fabulous in a crowd.

Ashley Tisdale plays it safe by pairing her bold floral patterned, reasonably priced H&M dress with a neutral black jacket and simple black shoes.

Rihanna goes a step further with the pattern trend in her Rude Boy video by pairing an energetic geometric pattern with a more subtle pattern of a single striped top.

An affordable way to capture this look can be done with American Apparel. Pairing geometric stripes with a metallic bronze print is subtle yet captivating.

Sarah Jessica Parker goes all out and mixes a striped sweater over a skirt with a floral paisley vibe. While some could think this style is a bit much, it works for her as her outfit has an overall black base and she pairs patterns of different mediums. The simple stripes seem to balance out the larger, more colorful pattern on her skirt.

For an affordable mixed prints look, try this style from Forever 21. It may seem extreme but the yellow base color ties both pieces together for a fun and lively style.

So step out of the box this summer with bold patterns. And don’t be scared to mix them for this exciting new trend!

Keeping Cool in the Nude

The unbearable heat during the summer will make you want to shed your clothes off, and since this is not an option (hehe), our alternative is wearing nude.!! Flesh colored tones are by far the sexiest way to show off your body! Think almost ice cream colors-nude with peach with washed out nutmeg, pale lemon, or spearmint with icy blue. Since it is considered a neutral color you can mix and match fun accents of other colors, just like a clean canvas. The right staple pieces in your closet are by far our favorite things to play with. Nude defiantly makes our wardrobe decisions easier.

Be careful about picking the right nude to your skin color, you don’t want to wash yourself out.

What N U D E is for you?

If you have a warm complexion like us your best bet is to stick with warm/yellowish-based nudes like ivory, camel, coffee and milk. If you have a lighter complexion you should go with a cool/bluish-based nude like cocoa and sand. If you have contrast like dark hair with either pinkish fair or dark skin try to keep the nude colors away from your face-go with accessories (shoes, bags, jewelry etc) it's not strong enough to hold your contrast colors and might give you a washed out look.

Do not only stick with clothing our favorite nudes come in all shapes and sizes!!
