1) I know its your bday next Monday Dec. 13th! What would be the best gift you each would want?

To-Nya: I would have loved to have all my family reunited here with us in NYC. Especially my nephew! I feel so blessed to have the best family and wished we lived in the same city! 

To-Tam: A BIG bday cake LOL !!!jk This year I want success & love.

2) How many kids do you each want? ( if any) LOL

To-Nya: I want 4 kids! 2 sets of twins, a boy and a girl set! :)
To-Tam: Would love 4 children. I want a big family I was raised in a large family of 6 children. I'd love two sets of twins: twin boys followed by twin girls.

3) How tall are you?

We are both 5'5"


4) Hey when r we gonna play some ping pong together?

Hi Jim! We should definitely plan a ping pong day soon! It's been too long. Hope all is well! :)

5) When you got your tattoo did it hurt I'm thinking about getting one soon :)

To-Nya: It didn't hurt as much as I expected. It was totally bearable!
To-Tam: Yes it hurt just a little.. but it wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be =)



6) Do you like winter or summertime?

To-Nya: I totally love summertime better. I'm exotic! I love the sun, the beach and the heat!
To-Tam: No question about it: summertime!!! HEATT baby!


7) Are you ready for a committed relationship?

To-Nya: Finding the right match is a rarity. When it does happen, I will know to cease the moment and to honor it. Yes, with the right person, I am definitely ready for a committed relationship.
To-Tam: Of course! When I find the right man if  we are compatible, have mutual respect, profound love & admiration for each other as well similar goals and lifestyle.

8) When do you want to get married?

To-Nya: I believe that marriage has no age specific. It's a feeling that will come with the right person and the right parameters.
To-Tam: When the time is right and everything feels right =)


9) Do you girls have hair extensions? And where to you get them?

No we don't. We are fortunate to have really long & thick hair.

10) Where do you girl's see yourselves 5 yrs from now who gets married first do you both ever like same guy do you flip coin to see who dates him what is one goal you have to have completed within next 3 yrs

To-Nya: In 5 years, I see myself leading a big empire, signing big checks, taking big decisions and leading a very comfortable lifestyle. I might be married and have just had newborn TWINS! LOL
To-Tam: In 5 years, I see the SACHIKA brand everywhere, literally LOL. I would have accomplished a lot more. I'll have many properties, a dog, many cars including a Porsche Cayenne Turbo 911 lol... I'll be traveling the world, maybe  I'll be married to an amazing husband maybe  I'll have a son lol who knows...but one sure thing is I'll be living the life that I ordered. =) I always thought I'd be the first one to get married cause I'm the older twin lol but we never know lol...WE'LL SEE lol...I'm ready for the fairy tale! =)

Thank you Melissa! Very nice website and blog you have! As fashion designers, our taste for jewelry is very broad. However, we have a preference for precious metals and statement pieces.- pieces that speak to people and are bold and fierce. Most of the time, less is more.

To-Nya: Thank you Lucas. We believe that hard work does pay off. It's a little more interesting being twins and dating but we both consider ourselves unique and very different from one another so  I guess it is as easy or as difficult as it is for a non-twin person. My dream man: He is a real gentleman, intelligent, very athletic, ambitious, caring, loyal, fun, adventurous and optimistic.

To-Tam: Thank you Lucas for those kind words. My dream man? huuumm  He can cook, give great massages and carry me in the streets when my feet hurt!!! lol...j/k!!!...I'd love someone who will be like my partner in crime, with great chemistry, mutual understanding, who is respectful, faithful, a gentleman, caring, affectionate, intelligent, witty, funny, fun, adventurous, positive, athletic and ambitious.. LOL

13) What do you wish for the most right now? 

 

To-Nya: Right now, I really wish to have this contract signed. It involves a lot and requires a lot of reviewing and care so we do have to take our time.
To-Tam: I can't wait to close this deal!!! 



14) Chocolate or Vanilla?

To-Nya: What about both? It depends of my mood. But I do like everything Vanilla! :)
To-Tam: I used to prefer vanilla but I think now I'm leaning more towards chocolate :p


15) Would you rather date an NBA Player or a Singer Sensation? LOL

To-Nya: I would rather date the one whose personality is more compatible to mine...the one who is closer to my ideal ;)
To-Tam: What about a guy that can sing & play ball? lol...Just kidding...I'd rather date the one who is a better match for me and who makes me feel good. =)


16) Short guy big dick or Tall guy small dick?

To-Nya: This is non-sense!
To-Tam: Are you serious??? What about everything else?..


17) How do you balance your work with your social life and still make time for yourselves?

To-Nya: When you lead the type of life where you are doing your passion everyday, you quickly realize how you are continuously gratifying your person and making room for YOU! It is such a great feeling to be living ( breathing fully every minute) and to be working everyday towards bigger dreams. The lines between hobbies, social life and work just become blurry. Whenever I am out, I am networking while enjoying myself...and when focused on work, I surround myself with a friendly and warm environment. Everything is within your power, your reach and your mind! Just believe!:)
To-Tam: Everything we do is work & fun because our work is our passion! We love what we do and we live our life with passion so work is not work it's like a playground lol!! SACHIKA is a lifestyle! We believe in enjoying every step of the way and we are definitely living our life to the fullest! Everywhere we go, even when it's work related we get to meet so many interesting & amazing people. Work & social life is now all in one.

18) Which are you top 3 clothing brands and why?

To-Nya: SACHIKA, SACHIKA and SACHIKA! LOL...but seriously, I haven't worn anything else other than SACHIKA since its launch ( Jan. 2009). I'd have to research more before I speak! :) I like feminine, sophisticated and simple clothes.

To-Tam: I do like BCBG, ZARA & MARCIANO. (simple, functional, feminine)

Here are the 22 questions that were asked to us on Tuesday 11/9/2010 via this blog.

1) Have you guys ever liked the same guy? 

To-Tam: We did in High school, a few. But as adults, not that I know of..LOL. 
To-Nya: Only when we were young…and didn’t know anything about “ liking” ! lol 

2) Have u ever considered modeling. you're gorgeous! 

To-Tam: Thank you. No, we never particularly wanted to model. Besides, we are 

 too short. We loooove taking photos though & enjoy new experiences.

To-Nya: We have been asked to model many times and took the opportunities to learn and explore what we can do. We never aspired to be models though.

3) Would either of you ever get plastic surgery? If so, where?

To-Tam: As of now, plastic surgery does not appeal to me.

To-Nya:  We don’t encourage anyone to get plastic surgery and we believe in natural beauty.

4) What do you think about men with long hair?

To-Tam: I have long hair & I'd prefer to be the only one with long hair in the couple but I do think Lenny Kravitz & David Beckham look great with long hair. It depends!

To-Nya: I think it depends on who….on the right person, yes, it can be very sexy!

5) I recently read somewhere that you two were born in Paris.... do you speak French? Vietnamese? 

Yes we both speak fluently French, Vietnamese in addition to English.  We learned Spanish in college so we know a little of it....it’s very similar to French. French is our first language.

6) What is the total of guys that you have dated each? 

To-Tam: I had 3 boyfriends. 

To-Nya: 1 boyfriend

7) What are you two wearing right now.. head to toe 

To-Tam: LOL..Right now? tank top & sweat pants.

To-Nya: NOTHING! hehe...j/k! T-shirt and sweats pants

8) Aside from yourself, which other designers to you girls love?

To-Tam: Versace, Zac Posen, Valentino

To-Nya: Zac Posen, Matthew Williamson, John Galliano

9) What is the biggest pet peeve that you girls have?

To-Tam: When people keep repeatedly saying POW!!..If your message is strong enough why add POW to it?

To-Nya: Stingy people 

10) Do you know what's your inspiration for next season?

To-Tam: Not yet but it will be definitely be unexpected  ! =)

To-Nya: I have an idea but nothing concrete….It's growing in my mind right now!

11) Whats your favorite perfume?

To-Tam: I don't have a favorite perfume. I usually like Vanilla & Fruity scents, not floral. Mine is Pacific Paradise from Escada

To-Nya: Betsey Johnson and Magnetism by Escada

12) How many boyfriends did you have?

To-Tam: 3

To-Nya: 1

13) Do you girls believe in marriage?

To-Tam: Yes absolutely! True love lasts forever.

To-Nya: Yes!!!  I believe in true love and in soulmates.

14) How long has SACHIKA been running?

Since January 2009 so a year and 10 months

15) Will you guys come out with a less expensive brand in the future

To-Tam: I think eventually there will be several lines for different demographics, so yes. A more affordable line is in the plans.

To-Nya: Yes, definitely. The sky is the limit to what we can do and will do! Also, I'd love to design for H&M just like LANVIN is doing right now! hint*

16)Do you Ladies think you have Banging Bodies? What is the most embarrassing thing you Ladies ever got caught doing? & What is you Ladies' ideal kind of guy?

To-Tam: That's like 3 questions in one lol... I can work with what God gave me...:p 
Embarrassing moment: Our dad caught us measuring our bust (me & To-Nya) when we were 13 in the restroom. He bursted in laughter when he saw us both topless measuring out boobies lol!  It was embarrassing. Lol. Ideal kind of guy: funny, adventurous, athletic, fun, ambitious, faithful, gentleman, caring, thoughtful, spontaneous...& much more!! lol

To-Nya: I think I am blessed to be the way I am for the amount of effort I put in. However, I am far from perfect and can be better! I am working on it..wink*

Embarrassing?   When we were 8 or so, we were playing “doctor” in the backyard with my female neighbor and we were showing our private parts…lol…my neighbor’s parents caught us, bursted out of the house and told our parents! LOL….
Ideal man: Smart, ambitious, athletic, fun, adventurous, caring, loyal.

1)Whats the main difference between you two?

To-Tam: Righty, beauty mark on left cheek.
To-Nya: Lefty, beauty mark above left eye

2) Do you ladies like the same men?

The description of our ideal man is very similar BUT somehow, we've NEVER liked the same guy....EVER....Thank GOD!!!... and let's just keep it that way! LOL


3)whats your favorite sex position? 

To-Tam: LOL it depends; I go with the flow of the moment..

To-Nya: It depends on the chemistry we share at the moment....

4)what can we expect next for SACHIKA? 

You can expect SACHIKA doing more than clothing. We are venturing into accessories, shoes, tv, music...and so much more!


5)Have you guys ever tricked people and traded places for a day? 

We tried to trick our teacher and classmates once in elementary school! It was funny...the teacher didn't know but our close friends all knew!

6)Are you ladies both single? .....Looking? 

We are both single. We're open to meet someone special:)


7) Would you guys hook up with a girl? 

We can appreciate a woman's beauty...and we've already kissed with our girlfriends back in the days ( college crazy days! lol) but that was it!! We are both 100% straight!


8) If you could be any super villain who would it be? 


To-Tam: Catwoman (she isn't really a villain anymore lol)
To-Nya: Poison Ivy


9)Name one thing that turns you on

To-Tam: Talent. I'm attracted to talent.

To-Nya: Talent...A man who is really good at what he does turns me on! ;)

10)Describe your sexual fantasy in 10 words or less

To-Tam: True Love. All my fantasies should be fulfilled with TRUE Love. (sounds cheesy huh lol)
To-Nya:  Sharing tender moments with someone special whom we have a deep connection, strong feelings & amazing chemistry. ( I know it's more than 10 words! )


11) Where do you like to travel? 

To-Tam: I'd love to travel overseas and see all the wonders of the world..Asia including Vietnam where our parents are from would be amazing.
To-Nya: There are so many places I'd like to visit. Traveling is definitely one of my passions. I'd love to go everywhere at least one...LOL...But let's start with VietNam, Japan, Greece, Australia, Thailand and Brazil.



12) Where can I buy your clothes? 

You can buy them online at www.sachika.com or visit our showroom in Chelsea New York as well as a few stores in NY & New Jersey.

 
13)Do you go to sex Shops?

To-Tam: I've been twice in my life. Not a customer.
To-Nya: My ex bf made me go a few times with him....Let's just say that I'm not a regular at all!


14) What is your fantasy dream date? 

To-Tam: I think it really depends on who I'm with. If I'm not feeling him no matter what we do & where we are, I probably won't enjoy it as much as with someone I have a strong connection with, everything is just so more fun with someone I like. Something original & out of the ordinary (not typical restaurant/drink/movie) could be more memorable. I like adventure!! :p
To-Nya: I like the unknown, the new and the different! The perfect date would be like an adventure.... it could be a road trip, rock climbing, sky diving...A date where we can get to know each other at different levels, laugh & live strong emotions together!


15) Will you guys be coming out with accessories anytime soon?


Yes SACHIKA jewelry in the making as we speak., Stay tuned :)


16) Where are you guys from? 

We were born in Paris, grew up in Montreal, Canada. We are now based in New York.


17) what is your favorite cocktail 

To-Tam: It changes all the time I don't like to eat /drink the same things all the time lol.. I do like Bailey's on the rock, Patron Cafe, Patron Marguarita with Salt, Amaretto Sour..(sweet drinks low on alcohol lol)
To-Nya: I am very lightweight so I like sweet cocktails. Marguaritas with salt, frangelico (any nut liquor) or creamy ones like Baileys...( I guess To-Tam and I have the same taste)


18) What is your favorite food? 

To-Tam: I love a good juicy medium rare steak. Anything tasty. Japanese & French Cuisines are my favorites followed by Thai & Vietnamese food
To-Nya: Raw oysters, Sea Urchins, Sushi, Pho (Vietnamese soup), a good juicy steak, fois gras. I like tasty and spicy (... and maybe weird food, lol). My 3 top cuisines are Japanese, Vietnamese & Thai.


19) Where did the SACHIKA name come from?

A friend said that To-Nya in Japanese is SACHIKA. It means more wishes, more happiness and more fortune.


20) When will the next SACHIKA event be ?
